Conseil de l'Europe

Le Comité permanent se réunit une fois par an pour suivre la mise en œuvre et le développement de la convention. La réunion du Comité permanent est suivie par les délégations des 50 Parties contractantes, y compris l’Union européenne, des Etats observateurs, les représentants d’organisations gouvernementales et non gouvernementales, de conventions, d’accords et de programmes internationaux concernant la biodiversité, ainsi que par des experts indépendants. Plus d’une centaine de participants sont attendus cette année pour discuter de sujets différents tels que le changement climatique, les espèces exotiques envahissantes, les zones protégées, la mise à mort illégale d'oiseaux et la biodiversité, entre autres.
