February 2015 is the 12th edition of Safer internet
Day, an initiative launched by the European Commission and taken up by the
Insafe Network. The Council of Europe is a supporter of this initiative. To mark this 12th edition, the Council of Europe has
invited Elizabeth Milovidov to make a presentation on parenting in the
digital age. As a consultant in digital parenting, her experience and wealth
of information addresses not only how parents can act and react to the leaps
and bounds of children using the internet, but also the hazards of raising a
responsible digital citizen in an ever-changing virtual world.
