One in Five

Parliaments
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will take part in the campaign by mobilising national parliamentarians and calling for the signature, ratification and implementation of the Lanzarote Convention through initiatives such as:
  • developing a handbook for parliamentarians
  • organising hearings and debates
  • encouraging parliamentarians to organise local, national and regional workshops in their constituencies involving various focus groups.

The Secretariat for the Parliamentary Assembly is currently setting up a network of contact parliamentarians. They will be instrumental in creating support at national level for the signature, ratification and implementation of the Lanzarote Convention.
