“While there has certainly been some progress to implement the Congress recommendations of 2006, further improvements remain to be made,” stressed Congress Vice-President Dubravca Suica addressing the Congress of Local Self-Government in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Neum, 6-7 December). She underline the need for a constitutional guarantee of local self-government, the simplification of the public administrative structure, harmonisation of the Cantons’ laws, and greater cooperation between municipalities, among others.

« Il y a eu indiscutablement des progrès dans l’application des recommandations formulées par le Congrès en 2006. Néanmoins, des améliorations sont encore nécessaires », a souligné la Vice-Présidente du Congrès Dubravca Suica devant le Congrès de l’autonomie locale en Fédération de Bosnie-Herzégovine (Neum, 6-7 décembre). Selon Mme Suica, il faudrait notamment instaurer une garantie constitutionnelle de l’autonomie locale, simplifier la structure administrative publique, harmoniser les lois cantonales et renforcer la coopération entre les communes.
