“Participatory democracy: sharing, proposing, deciding” will be the slogan of the 2014 Democracy Week  [25/03/2014]

On 24 March 2014, the Bureau of the Congress decided to dedicate the 2014 Edition of the European Local Democracy Week (ELDW) to participatory democracy and adopted a new slogan : ''Participatory democracy: sharing, proposing, deciding''. ''A special emphasis will be given to youth participation, which will also give the opportunity to establish a link between the ELDW and the World Forum for Democracy (3-5 November 2014) which will focus on Youth,'' underlined Gaye Doganoglu (Turquie, PPE/CCE), political coordinator of ELDW presenting the conclusions of the general ELDW coordination meeting, held in Paris, on 14 February 2014 to the Congress Bureau .

“La Démocratie Participative : partager, proposer, décider” sera le slogan de la Semaine de la démocratie 2014  [25/03/2014]

Le 24 mars 2014, le Bureau du Congrès a décidé de consacrer l’édition 2014 de la Semaine de la Démocratie Locale à la démocratie participative et a adopté un nouveau slogan : “La Démocratie Participative : partager, proposer, décider”. ''Un accent particulier sera porté sur la participation des jeunes, ce qui nous permettra aussi d’établir un lien entre la SEDL et le Forum Mondial de la Démocratie (3-5 novembre 2014) qui sera centré sur la jeunesse'', a expliqué Gaye Doganoglu (Turquie, PPE/CCE), coordinatrice politique de la SEDL lors de sa présentation des conclusions de la réunion de coordination générale de la SEDL, tenue à Paris, le 14 février 2014, à la réunion du Bureau du Congrès.
