GIBOULÉES DE LA MARIONNETTE, 23-31 MARCH 2012
From 11.30 am to 2 p.m. on Tuesday 7 February, representatives of the Strasbourg theatre for children, the TJP, will be in the foyer of the Agora building to publicise this year’s Giboulées de la marionette puppet festival and answer any questions you may have.
From 23 to 31 March 2011, the TJP, Alsace’s nationally recognised theatre for children, will be holding its spring puppet festival, the Giboulées de la marionnette. For the 23rd year running this inventive, ground-breaking event will offer a whole variety of shows designed to appeal to children of all ages, from 4 to 104. This is where puppeteering meets traditional shadow theatre, the new digital arts and every type of music, addressing contemporary themes or transporting you to the lands of your dreams.

FESTIVAL RUMBA Y CANDELA FROM 10 to 12 FEBRUARY 2012
Candela Association in partnership with the Amicale of the Council of Europe is pleased to announce the Rumba y Candela 2 Festival which is taking place the 10, 11 and 12 of February. A festival dedicated to the Cuban and Afro-Cuban culture. Special prices are proposed to Amicale members.

THE BIG CIRCUS OF SAINT-PETERSBURG IS COMING TO STRASBOURG

The "ARABESQUES" theatre troupe of the Staff Amicale is looking for a male actor (French-speaking , age 35-70) for a leading role in a light comedy to be presented to the public in autumn 2012. NEW: CAR-POOLING : SHARE YOUR CAR!
The Amicale and the Staff Committee’s “Environmental questions” WG are setting up a car-pooling scheme to give staff members working in Strasbourg the opportunity to share the journey between home and work with one or more colleagues. A new secured website has been launched with the help of DIT: the access is restricted to staff members and members of the Permanent Delegations. You can consult the co-ordinates and availability of colleagues willing to share their car and register yourself online. The conditions (free-of-charge, splitting petrol costs, itinerary, frequency, etc.) should be agreed on directly with the persons concerned. Car-pooling website
