The Arts Club

The Arts Club activities are focused on visual arts. Exhibitions of work by artists sponsored by Amicale members and members of Permanent Representations are organised at the Arts Gallery, outside the Control Centre and in the Cafeteria showcases, both in the Palais de l'Europe.

The Selection Procedure


The selection procedure takes place every year in June for the following year’s exhibitions. More

The Arts Club is also looking for interested colleagues to join the team and help with the organisation of exhibitions.

Lectures
 










"Le professeur Jean-Marc Lévy, éminent médecin d'enfant et Docteur en Histoire de l'Art, a choisi l'époque classique - l'âge d'or de la peinture européenne - pour illustrer les représentations des malades et des médecins dans les œuvres des peintres de l'époque. Il existe une passerelle entre l'art et la médecine, le génie du peintre s'est mis au service de la souffrance, entre cauchemar et beauté. Le conférencier  envisagera également les raisons de l’intérêt que les peintres du XVIIe siècle ont accordé, pour les mettre en scène, aux malades et à ceux qui les soignaient. Jean-Marc Lévy a réussi de trouver les œuvres de cette période dans les collections publiques et privées, les analyser et les grouper par thèmes au regard de sa double expertises: médicale et iconologique".

The Arts Club also organises training courses of artistic technique. Drawing and painting courses are also proposed by an artist of the Ukrainien classic School. More information
