Solidarity Day is organized to support projects in favour of persons who are handicapped or in distress in Europe.

Projects for Solidarity Day, 20 November 2010

· Armenia, - Haghtanak village – Nursing home Yerevan N1 for 260 aged persons – Restoration of the medical treatment room

· Croatia, Zagreb – Center for rehabilitation "Zagreb" caring for 500 people with a disability – Purchase of a patient lifter

· France, Strasbourg - Resto Bébé is part of the movement “Restos du Cœur” –providing assistance to isolated or abandoned mothers – Purchase of nappies, toiletries, food and baby milk - Project supported since 2001

· France, Strasbourg – Association “Semeurs d’Etoiles” – This association works to better the conditions of hospitalized children in the Alsace

· Germany, Kehl – Association “Einfach so” - Meeting place for persons in distress. Installation of a shower and purchase of a washing machine and tumble dryer

· Romania, Vaslui – Association “Total Pentru Viata” - Outpatient centre for senior citizens – Purchase of medical kits ; first-aid kits, glucometers, medical equipment and adapted furniture to enable senior citizens to live independently.
