Practical approach to transfrontier co-operation: conference in Maastricht [01/07/2009]
The Conference ''Practical Approaches Towards Effective European Transfrontier Co-operation'' will take place in Maastricht (The Netherlands) on 6 and 7 July. This conference aims to ascertain the factors that enhance or hinder transfrontier co-operation throughout Europe. Its results will provide elements for the discussion on transfrontier co-operation at the next Conference of Ministers responsible for Local and Regional Government in Utrecht, which will be held in November.

La Conférence ''Une Approche pratique et efficace de la coopération transfrontalière en Europe'' se tient a Maastricht (Pays-Bas) les 6 et 7 juillet. Cette conférence vise à identifier les facteurs qui facilitent ou entravent la coopération transfrontalière au niveau européen et à fournir des éléments de discussion sur la coopération transfrontalière pour la prochaine conférence des Ministres responsables du gouvernement local et régional, qui aura lieu à Utrecht, en novembre.
