Angel GurrÃa: Financial situation ''indeed critical'' [01/10/2008]
On 1 October, OECD Secretary General Angel GurrÃa expressed the OECD’s support for the adoption of the U.S. systemic rescue plan: ''I am confident that in the coming days the U.S. legislators will reach an agreement.'' Europe may need such a plan as well, he said, ''considering the exposure of European financial institutions.''

Angel GurrÃa, Secrétaire général de l’OCDE, dans son allocution, le 1er octobre, a indiqué, que l’OCDE est favorable à l’adoption du plan de sauvetage du système financier américain : ''Je ne doute pas que les législateurs étatsuniens parviendront à un accord''. Il a estimé que l’Europe pourrait aussi avoir besoin d’un plan de ce type ''étant donné l’exposition des institutions financières européennes''.
