IX International Youth Camp “Dialogue”

The Council of Europe Youth Department is co-organising in cooperation with the National Youth Council of Russia and with support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation the IX International Youth Camp “Dialogue” to be held from 23 to 27 August 2017 at the Tourist-cultural centre “Ethnomir” (Kaluga region, Russian Federation).

The Dialogue Camp brings together 150 young people from a wide range of ethnic, religious and cultural background from Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States countries and different regions of the Russian Federation. The camp aims to create and provide an educational environment for youth leaders and activists from various cultural backgrounds to practice and develop their competencies in Intercultural Dialogue for fostering peace in society today.

The camp is a part of the Action Plan for 2016-2017 of the Framework Programme on co-operation between the Council of Europe and the Russian Federation in the youth field.

 All interested candidates from the states party to the European Cultural Convention (other than the Russian Federation) are invited to apply by 2 pm (CET) on 24 July by filling in the online application form available at http://youthapplications.coe.int/Application-forms
