Back Pilot Training on Hate Crime for judges

As a follow-up of the Training of Trainers on Hate Crime conducted for Judges in April 2017, Council of Europe (CoE) and European Union (EU) on 19-20 June 2017 organized two-day pilot training on the same topic for judges.

The aim of the activity was to improve training skills of local trainees with oversight of international expert and at the same time equip participants with necessary knowledge on Hate Crime. As a result of the training judges will be able to provide cascade trainings to their peers.

The activity was organised in the framework of the EU – CoE joint project “Application of the European Convention on Human Rights and harmonisation of national legislation and judicial practice in line with European standards in Georgia”, implemented under the EU-CoE Programme Partnership for Good Governance.
