On 7-8 July 2015, the Council of Europe Economic Crime and Cooperation Unit (ECCU) organised a two-day staff orientation visit at the Strasbourg headquarters for newly recruited Eastern Partnership Programmatic Cooperation Framework (PCF) staff members from offices in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine.
During the visit, the staff members assigned to implementation of anti-corruption and anti-money laundering/terrorist financing projects in their respective countries had the opportunity to hear about the interlink between the regional and national PCF Anti-Corruption and Anti-Money Laundering components; roles of various Council of Europe Strasbourg based units vis-à-vis field offices, roles and responsibilities of national officers; and program implementation. The program of the visit also covered lessons learned during the previous Eastern Partnership Project (2011-2014).
The visit was organized as part of the PCF Anti-Corruption and Anti-Money Laundering Programme.
