[December 2017] Since 2000, the association Mano a Mano has been organising "Useful holidays"; 2 months of outside school activities during the summer break dedicated to children from the slums of Ensenada, near Lima, Peru.

And since 2015, the Entraide-Solidarity association contributes to the project. This year, the association paid the sum of €1605 corresponding to equipment for the organisation of workshops on art and gardening, hygiene and educational equipment.

[November 2017] The Belgian association APECOS (Association for the care of orphans of AIDS) which works for the education of about fifty AIDS orphans in Kigali in Rwanda called on our Entraide-Solidarity association to help to finance school materials and uniforms for the 2018 school year.

The association Entraide-Solidarity has decided to pay the sum of 1956 euros corresponding to the school materials and uniforms for these children.

[October 2017] The association Entraide-Solidary following a request from the Socio-Cultural Center of Langensand in Haguenau, decided to allocate a contribution of 1800 € to renovate a school in Madagascar.

This includes a contribution to the purchase price of construction and renovation equipment. These materials will be purchased locally.

Description of the project

[September 2017] Following the earthquake struck the island of Lesbos (Greece) on 12 June, the association Entraide-Solidarity organised a call for donations and a sale of cakes with the cooperation of Greeks Council of Europe staff members.

The assosication Entraide-Solidarity decided to allocate a summ of €4200 to the Association franco-Hellenique d'Alsace (CAFH).

Hereby some pictures of the material distributed to the local population of Vrissa as well as a thank you letter from the CAFH.

[October 2017] During the Council of Europe Amicale’s back to work party which took place on 30 September, the Entraide-Solidarity Association organised a raffle which raised the sum of €570.

This sum will enable us to support future humanitarian projects. The Entraide-Solidarity Association warmly thanks its partners and participants who contributed to this event.

[July 2017] In 2017, the Entraide-Solidarity association renewed his support to the Humanitarian Association Council Europe (A.H.C.E.) project by subsidising the transport of computer equipment to a school in Burkina Faso.

This contribution amounted to €180.

[June 2017] An earthquake struck the island of Lesbos on 12 June, causing more than a dozen wounded and one dead. The village of Vrisa is devastated and hundreds of inhabitants are homeless. In Plomari the damage is also important.

Faced with such a drama, we cannot remain indifferent. The people of Lesbos need our help.

The association Entraide-Solidarity launches a call for donations to the Staff member of the Council of Europe and members of the Permanent Representations to help the victims of Lesbos in partnership with the Association franco-Hellenique d'Alsace (CAFH).

[June 2017] The ED+ Association targeting vulnerable populations in Madagascar has again asked the association Entraide-Solidarity to support the TER Mada project, which aims at strengthening the capacities and improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations in Madagascar by Agro-ecology and environmental education.

The sum of €2650 has been allocated for the construction of a well in order to allow access to water. It is essential for the education of the children of the CEGs of the local communities, the children of the Antananarivo orphanages and the peasants of the surroundings of Ambatomirahavavy.

[April 2017] The Entraide-Solidarity Association renewed its supported the humanitarian Association Modeste et Innocent. This Association aims to promote peace and reconciliation in Rwanda by seeking durable and non-violent solutions for the problems of conflict and violence that have devastated the Rwandan society.

A contribution of €1,800 was paid to finance the 2^nd part of the logotherapy training of Ms. Mukayitasire, a clinical psychologist and founder of the Association.

In 2016, the association made a contribution of €2163 to the organisation of these summer classes including classes in the subjects taught at the school, and more playful workshops of architecture, landscape, town planning, ecology or construction and literature.

[March 2017] The Hope 4 the World association called Entraide-Solidarités association to help a women's association in a village in Suriname.

The association Entraide-Solidarity has decided to pay the sum of €921 corresponding to the purchase of two machines to grind manioc and rice.

[January 2017] The association Entraide-Solidarity has decided to grant €1,000 to the Order of Malta in favour of refugees, particularly from the Near and Middle East.

Five kits of equipment needed for emergency household installation including, for each kit, hygiene products, a mattress, a blanket and a bed were funded.
