Today Thorbjørn Jagland met with Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, President of Malta. Their exchange of views focused on the challenges and demographic benefits of migration.

The Secretary General highlighted the need to foster living together in diversity and the relevance of European solidarity. They also spoke about the important role played by the Council of Europe in promoting children's rights and child protection.
