Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland will be in Kyiv on 17-18 March 2015 for meetings with President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and other government officials. He will also meet with representatives of civil society.

On 18 March at 9:30, the Secretary General and Minister Klimkin will launch the Council of Europe’s Action Plan for Ukraine 2015-2017 in the building of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine (2, Velyka Zhytomyrska Str., Kyiv). Media are invited to cover the event on March 18. Other media opportunities will be announced separately.
