Status of the Council of Europe Office in Pristina

On 27 May 2015, Bjoern Berge, Director of the Secretary General's Private Office and Petrit Selimi, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs exchanged letters on the status of the Council of Europe Office in Pristina. The Council of Europe office in Pristina plays an important role in the implementation of cooperation programmes, such as the Council of Europe and European Union joint projects: ‘Support to the Promotion of Cutural Diversity in Kosovo*’ and ‘Project against Economic Crime in Kosovo*’ (PECK).

*All references to Kosovo, whether the territory, institutions or population, in this text shall be understood in full compliance with United Nation's Security Council Resolution 1244 and without prejudice to the status of Kosovo.
