Compasito is a manual on human rights education for children. It is a starting point for educators, teachers and trainers who are ready to deal with human rights education with children between the ages of 7 and 13 years.

The book familiarises the reader with the key concepts of human rights and children's rights, and provides substantial theoretical background to 13 key human rights issues, including democracy, citizenship, gender equality, the environment, media, poverty and violence.

The activities  engage and motivate children to recognise human rights issues in their own environment and also give practical tips on how they can be used in various formal and non-formal educational settings.

The manual can be consulted online  or downloaded in English, French (Repères Juniors) and Russian or bought at the online bookshop of the Council of Europe.
