A delegation of the Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities will visit Italy from 29 June to 3 July 2015 in the context of the monitoring of the implementation of this Convention.
This is the fourth visit of the Advisory Committee to Italy. The Delegation will have meetings with the representatives of all relevant ministries, public officials, NGOs, as well as national minority organisations.
Note: Italy submitted its fourth State Report the Framework Convention in March 2014. Following its visit, the Advisory Committee will adopt an Opinion which will be sent to the government for comments. The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe will then adopt conclusions and recommendations in respect of Italy.
