On 23 April 2015 the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Municipal Economy of Ukraine in the framework of implementation of the priorities of decentralisation and local self-government reform as well as the Joint Statement On Co-Operation For The Strengthening Of Local Government In Ukraine between the Minregion and the Council of Europe will hold the launching meeting on implementation of local self-government reform and territorial organization of power in the regions.

Mr Henadii Zubko, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Municipal Economy of Ukraine will open the meeting.  Mr Daniel Popescu, Head of the Council of Europe Centre of Expertise for Local Government Reform will welcome participants on behalf of the Council of Europe.

Event will be held with the support of the Council of Europe Programme “Strengthening the capacity of local authorities in Ukraine” in the Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv.
