Conference “The case-law of the European Committee of Social Rights in the name of the indivisibility of human rights”

A Conference on “the case-law of the European Committee of Social Rights in the name of the indivisibility of human rights” (la giurisprudenza del Comitato europeo dei Diritti sociali, nel segno dell’indivisibilità dei diritti umani”) took place in Milan on 15 May 2017 (Università degli Studi di Milano, sala Crociera - Giurisprudenza, via Festa del Perdono 7, 8:30 am-1:30 pm).

The Conference was organised by the University of Milan (Università degli Studi di Milano), in co-operation with the Department of the European Social Charter, Council of Europe. The Conferencewas opened by  Prof. Marilisa D’AMICO, Director of the Department of Constitutional Law of the University of Milan and Ms Elena CENTEMERO, President of the Commission on Equality and Non-Discrimination of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. It focused on the monitoring and interpretation of the Charter by the European Committee of Social Rights and, in this framework, on the collective complaints procedure.

Professor Giuseppe PALMISANO, President of the Committee and Mr Riccardo PRIORE, Coordinator of the Turin process for the European Social Charter, Council of Europe, contributed to the debates.
