The Centre of Expertise, in cooperation with CDDG is conducting a peer review at the request of the Slovenian government. Seven peers and experts from France, UK, Ireland, Greece, Slovakia and Switzerland are discussing the Slovenian Strategy with all stakeholders including local and central authorities, parliament and associations in order to provide advice on this important political document.
The Democratic Governance Division is responsible for overseeing the work of the intergovernmental European Committee on Democracy and Governance and the assistance and cooperation activities implemented by the Centre of Expertise for Good Governance aimed at improving legislation in the area of decentralisation and public administration and at strengthening the institutional capacity of local, regional and central authorities.
