The EYF challenges you to play!
In 2012, the European Youth Foundation celebrated its 40th anniversary, 40 years of supporting European youth NGOs, 40 years of working with you!!!
On this occasion and in order to promote our common work among young people and youth NGOs across Council of Europe member states, we created an anniversary box which will be of use to all of us and a reminder of our shared values and beliefs.
The anniversary box contains a perpetual calendar with photos from EYF-funded activities (so you can use it for many years to come) and a game about the EYF, and its context in the Council of Europe and the Youth Department.
Because we believe in the power of imagination and non-formal education, we created a game that presents the EYF - the values it stands for and its history - in a unique and fun way!
As a registered organisation with the EYF you should have received our anniversary box by post in April/May 2012. This is a present for you, from us, as we wanted to share this special moment with all of you. Feel free to download the game from the links below and use it during your activities. We sincerely hope the game will bring the EYF and the Council of Europe closer to the young people you interact with.
We suggest 8 ways on how to play the game… but you can create your own as well! How many can you come up with? We welcome any ideas!! (Don't forget to let us know!). If you haven't received a copy of the anniversary box, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll make sure you get one. So let your imagination guide you and play on!
