Deadlines for EYF grant applications
Deadline 1 April
- International activities to be carried out between 1 January and 30 June (1st half of the following year)
- Annual work plans for following year
Deadline 1 October
New cut-off dates for pilot activities.
Please check the calendar for dates concerning the decision-making process for grant applications on pilot activities. There are no fixed deadlines to send an application, but it must be submitted at least 3 months before the start date of the project. However, a system of cut-off dates was decided by the Programming Committee on Youth in December 2016, to allow for sufficient time for assessment, two-way communication and decision-making. Following the calendar below, the EYF secretariat will stop considering new online applications at the beginning of February, March, June, September and November, so that the online discussions can take place. The assessed applications will then be sent to the Programming Committee on Youth for decision.
You submit a pilot activity application on 25 January. This will be assessed by the EYF Secretariat along with all the other applications received up until 1 February and the online discussion will finish around the end of February. The assessed applications will then be sent to the Programming Committee on Youth and you will receive notification of the decision around mid-March.
You submit a pilot activity application on 5 February. As you missed the cut-off date of 1 February, your application will be examined together with the other applications received up until 1 March and the online discussion will finish around the end March. You will be informed of the Programming Committee on Youth’s decision around mid-April.
Please note that there is no cut-off date in April, July, August and October, as the secretariat is busy with other tasks or understaffed at those times of the year.
