The Programming Committee on Youth (CPJ) met on 8-9 June 2017 at the European Youth Centre in Budapest. It took the following decisions on grant applications submitted to the European Youth Foundation (EYF) at the 1 April deadline:
- out of 16 applications received for 2018 annual work plans, 8 were approved with grants totalling €344 000;
- out of 27 one-off international activities taking place in the first half of 2018, 9 applications were approved with grants totalling €140 000.

The Programming Committee on Youth also selected 10 study sessions out of the 17 applications to the European Youth Centres for the first half of 2018 and adopted the draft programme/budget of the Council of Europe’s youth sector, including the EYF, for 2018.
The CPJ held a joint meeting with the Bureaux of the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ) and the Advisory Council for Youth (CCJ).
