The EUR-OPA Major Hazards Agreement participated in the Disabilities and Disasters Forum which took place at University College London, United Kingdom, on 12 March 2014. A panel of experts working in the field of disasters and disability discussed the issues associated with improving emergency preparedness for people with disabilities. The points of view of civil protection, government and civil society organisations was also taken into account and strategies for improving service delivery were discussed.
