The Deputy Secretary General today met drivers from the “Raid della Fratellanza e della Pace 2015”, an initiative to promote peace and friendship along with the concept of an Alpine macro-region (Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, France, Switzerland, Italy).  The team are driving vintage cars through the Alps. They will bring back a symbolic basket of products from Alpine rural areas to the Universal Exposition (EXPO) in Milan, as a symbolic message of co-operation between territorial authorities across borders.
