In the context of the launch of the  Council of Europe and Armenia Action Plan for 2015-2018 in Yerevan, the Deputy Secretary General met with Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan on 20 May to discuss cooperation on constitutional and electoral reform, reforming the judiciary, fighting ill treatment in the penitentiary system and anti-corruption measures. The Deputy Secretary General also met with Chief of Staff-Minister of the Government Davit Harutyunyan and Ombudsperson Arman Tatoyan.

The launching of the Action Plan will take place on Saturday 21 May and the Deputy Secretary General will meet with Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. A celebratory event is being held to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Armenian's accession to the Council of Europe.
