Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni had an exchange of views today with Dario Franceschini, Italian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Cultural Activities and Tourism. The meeting focused on Council of Europe conventions in the cultural field and on policy co-operation with Italy.

Deputy Secretary General participated as well in Rome in the event organised by La Via Francigena, in the framework of the cultural routes of the Council of Europe.

Moreover, Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni met Ambassador Elisabetta Belloni, Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.

Further meetings have been held for migration issues and sport governance.
