The Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape (CDCPP) warmly welcomed the first Indicator Framework on Culture and Democracy (IFCD) prepared in follow-up to the 2013 Council of Europe conference of Ministers of Culture. The Committee acknowledged the excellence of the work developed by the Hertie School of Governance for the Council of Europe, and emphasised its usefulness as a broad-ranging and systematic evidence-base for cultural policy makers around Europe. The project is being supported by the European Union, European Cultural Foundation and the ERSTE Foundation.
