Workshop on “Strengthening of the legislative framework and track-record system for financing of political entities and electoral campaigns” took place on 17 March 2017 in Podgorica.

The aim of the workshop was to present the Council of Europe expert findings and an analysis of the legal framework for control of financing of political parties and to discuss challenges in implementation of bylaws defining methods of monitoring and control of financing of political entities and electoral campaigns. The workshop was attended by representatives of:  Agency for Prevention of Corruption, State Audit Institution, Anti-Corruption Committee, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Ministry of Public Administration and Tax Administration.

A technical paper with recommendations for future steps, which takes into account the feedback from the discussions will be produced by the Council of Europe and made available to the Agency for Prevention of Corruption in Montenegro.
