Seventeen representatives of national parliamentary committees, anti-corruption agencies, prosecutorial and judicial institutions from six Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine take part in the Council of Europe’s workshop on “Corruption Proofing of Legislation”. The two day workshop provides an opportunity to the practitioners to discuss the international standards and to share good practices and lessons learned from their respective countries in the area of legislative risk assessment. The outcomes of the workshop will be compiled in a Report “Corruption Proofing of Legislation in EaP countries”, which provides recommendations on best practices for setting up and implementing corruption proofing tools for the EaP countries, based on applicable international standards and common issues identified in the region.
