Back Kyrgyz prosecutors and law enforcement officers trained at the Council of Europe on countering economic crime and corruption

An interagency delegation of officials representing the Prosecutor’s Office, the Financial Police and the Anti-Corruption Service of the State Committee of National Security attended the training “Effective economic crime and corruption related investigations” on 08 and 09 June 2017 at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France.

The training covered anti-corruption international standards, mutual legal assistance and asset recovery topics, and successfully combined theoretical concepts with practical cases and mock exercises.

The event is the first in a series to be conducted within the Project “Strengthen Prevention and Combating of Corruption in Kyrgyz Republic” and will be followed by specialized trainings of trainers sessions.
