Declaration from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, dated 15 January 1952, registered at the Secretariat General on 4 February 1952 – Or. Fr.

The Government of the Kingdom of Sweden recognises, in accordance with Article 25 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental freedoms signed in Rome on 4 November 1950, the competence of the European Commission for Human Rights to receive petitions addressed to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe from any person, non-governmental organisation or group of individuals claiming to be the victim of a violation by one of the High Contracting Parties of the rights set forth in the said Convention.

Declaration from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, dated 13 May 1966, registered at the Secretariat General on 15 June 1966 – Or. Fr.

In accordance with Article 46 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental freedoms signed in Rome on 4 November 1950 [see Article 34 of the Convention since the entry into force of Protocol No. 11], the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden recognises, for a period of five years as from 13 May 1966, as compulsory ipso facto and without special agreement in respect of any other Contracting Party to the Convention as well as to the Protocols mentioned below, that is to say, on condition of reciprocity, the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights in all matters concerning the interpretation and application of the said Convention, the Protocol thereto signed in Paris on 20 March 1952, and Protocol No. 4 signed in Strasbourg on 16 September 1963.
