Conference on Children's Rights in the Migration Crisis and in the Digital Environment

The Conference on Children's Rights in the Migration Crisis and in the Digital Environment will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, on 3-4 November 2016.

The aim of the conference, organised under the Estonian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, is to share good practices and discuss two burning issues: children’s rights in the turmoil of migration and children’s rights in the digital environment. Children will be participating next to top leaders and will present their own messages and thoughts on the issues discussed. Jürgen Ligi, Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs will open the conference. Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muižnieks will deliver a keynote speech at the opening of the evening.
