The 18th meeting of the Committee of the Parties of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings was held in Strasbourg on 23 May 2016.

The Committee adopted recommendations under the second evaluation round of the Convention addressed to the Governments of Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova.

The Committee also considered reports submitted by Luxembourg, Serbia and Slovenia concerning measures taken to comply with the Committee of the Parties’ recommendations on the implementation of the Convention. The Committee took note of the measures taken by the authorities of these countries and decided to transmit the reports to GRETA in order to be taken into consideration for the second evaluation round. The Committee decided to make the reports public.

At its next meeting (4 November 2016), the Committee of the Parties will hold elections of 13 GRETA members.
