In-service Training Session for Judges and Prosecutors in Antalya

 

In service training sessions, which aim to increase the capacities of first instance judges and prosecutors to identify violations of fundamental rights and freedoms continued with the seventh session organized on 26-28 January 2018 in Antalya. The aim is to deliver peer training sessions to nearly 3000 judges and prosecutors before the end of 2018.  

65 judges, prosecutors and candidate judges from various provinces of Turkey, 2 facilitator judges and prosecutors, rapporteurs of the Constitutional Court in Turkey as well as representatives of Justice Academy participated in the training.

Participants were trained within the context of the following topics in relation to the main elements of the protection of human rights:

  • Right to respect for private life and family life,
  • Freedom of religion and conscience / expression / association and organization.  

Participants were given certificates at the end of the session.
