1970-1983 : Assistant lecturer and lecturer at the University of Lodz, Chair of Public International Law and International Relations

1983-1984 : Trainee lawyer

1990-1991: Editor-in-chief of the newspaper “News of the Day”

1991-1992 : Director in the European Integration Office at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery

1992-1994 : Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Phnom Penh

1994-1997 : Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Hanoi

1997-1998 : Deputy Director of the Asia, Africa and Australia Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
