Interior Ministers from Council of Europe member states met in Warsaw for a conference reviewing new measures at European level to combat terrorism and organised crime.( 17 and 18 March).

They focused on special investigative techniques, the protection of witnesses, controlling money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The conference was opened by Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and Council of Europe Secretary General Terry Davis. (more...)
