Local and regional elected representatives keen to make their voice heard internationally

25.05.2004 - The newly elected President of the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, Giovanni Di Stasi, believes that if local and regional elected representatives were involved in debate on major international issues ''more attention would be paid to the pacifist convictions of the vast majority of Europeans''.
