01/04/2016 - Gaetano Adinolfi, aka « Nino », passed away on Tuesday 29 March. Former Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, he was also the founding President of the Eurimages Fund. The Board of Management and the Eurimages Secretariat wish to pay tribute to this great founding personality of the Fund, salute the memory of a lighthearted and committed man, and share the grief of his family, relatives and friends.

A couple of days earlier, it was with a great shock and sadness that we learnt about the early departure of Toine Berbers, Dutch representative to the Eurimages Board of Management from 2001 to 2009 and Vice-Chair in 2005 and 2006. We remember Toine not only as a wise, kind and profoundly humane person but also as a most efficient and committed colleague. Toine will be sorely missed by all of us but our memories of his warmth and smile will remain forever.
