It is After World War II, that the idea of European reconciliation led to the founding of the Council of Europe. Strasbourg was selected to be the seat of that institution, and became the symbol of European unity and construction.

Badges will be given to you at the entry to the premises of the Council of Europe. Please make sure you have your passport or identity card with you. This badge allow you to access all Council of Europe buildings.
